Plans are afoot to organize the 19th Asian Taekwondo Championships some time in late April or early May in either Vietnam or Kazakhstan. For the competition, the Asian Taekwondo Union is thinking of including both kyorugi and poomsae.
In order to better prepare for the tournament, the Singapore Taekwondo Federation is inviting all affiliates to participate in the open trials for kyorugi and poomsae. The details of the trials are as follows:

All participants must be SINGAPORE CITIZENS and holders of Kukkiwon certificates. Shortlisted players and performers will be required to fulfill the training requirements averaging 12 hours per week to qualify for the final selection which will be conducted at least a month before the Championships.
The panel of selectors will comprise any 3 of the following senior technical members.

The trials would be open for observation by participants and their accompanying coaches only.
The closing date for registration is Friday, 8 January 2010. The registration and player’s undertaking form are attached.
