30 players (kyorugi and poomsae) have been shortlisted to vie for places in the 18th Asian Cities Gold Cup Taekwondo Championships to be held from 7 to 9 February 2014 in Hong Kong.

Shortlisted players will be required to fulfill the training requirements averaging 12 hours per week to qualify for the final selection which will be held on Sunday 12 January 2014 at 12.00pm at the STF National Training Centre.
The number of players who will eventually board the plane will be decided by the selectors at the final trial.
Those who are not selected to train for the final trial are encouraged to continue training for future selections. For them, the outcome of the selection simply means that they are not ready for international competitions.
All shortlisted players are requested to report for briefing and training on Sunday 8 December 2013 at 12.00pm at the STF National Training Centre.
