The Singapore Taekwondo Federation team of 6 senior, 3 junior, 2 cadet kyorugi players and 2 poomsae performers returned to Singapore on 10 February 2014 with a gold collection of trophies from the Asian Cities Gold Cup Taekwondo Championships held from 7 to 9 February 2014 in Hong Kong.
The players & performers won 5 golds, 3 silvers and 4 bronzes. They also finished among the overall trophy winners with the cadet male division clinching the overall 2nd position and the senior male division finishing overall 3rd.

Chelsea Sim, without doubt, is the best performer for the team at the tournament, winning 2 golds in the Female Individual Poomsae and in the Mixed Pair with Kang Rui Jie.

The organizers were so mesmerized by her performance that she was asked to give a demonstration before the presentation of prizes. The VIPs and spectators were awe by her scintillating performance.
