Lee Thiam Poh, Chow Pak Hoong and Lim Teong Chin were among 250 international referees who attended the 52nd International Referee Refresher Seminar held from 19 to 21 October 2005 in Kukkiwon, Seoul, Korea.
Participants were taught the latest competition rules, the psychology
of refereeing and the moral expectations of referees for the theory
sessions.
For the practical session, they performed hand signals and refereeing under simulated conditions.
The seminar rounded off with theory and practical tests which the three experienced local participants had no problem going through.
