The Poomsae Coach Course will be organized to qualify blackbelts as poomsae coaches or to provide blackbelts the first step towards being full-fledged poomsae coaches.
Poomsae Coach Certificate (Level 1) will be issued to those with a Level 1 NCAP or Taekwondo Coaching qualification who successfully complete the course. However, for successful participants without the coaching qualification, a Level 1P certificate will be awarded. They will be entitled to be promoted to Level 1 on getting the relevant coaching qualification.

For the course, there are two components. For the theory component, the participants will learn about the principles of movements and the rules of poomsae competition relevant to poomsae coaches. For the practical session, the participants will taught the finer points of poomsae performance from Taegeuk Il-Jang to Poomsae Koryo. A practical and theory tests will be conducted at the end of the course.
