80 participants went through the unarmed combat course (Level 1) held on 8, 9, 15 and 16 May 2010 at the National Training Centre.
The course was conducted by Leon Koh under the supervision of RA Jeyaraman, Martial Arts Committee Chairman. They were assisted by Peter Wong and Brian Peh.
All the participants were attentive and followed the instructions given to them. It was also obvious that many of them did their own training as their effort was expressed during the tests.
Those who passed the tests will be exempted from the unarmed combat component required of candidates going for the 2nd poom or 2nd dan. They may also proceed to the next level.
