Workshop for School Coaches

All school coaches must attend a workshop on National Standards for Youth Sports for Coaching in Singapore Schools by 2015.  It is a one-day workshop jointly conducted by Ministry of Education and the Singapore Sports Council.Details of the workshop can be found on the following website.http://www.ssc.gov.sg/publish/Corporate/en/our_services0/courses.html The workshop aims to

• provide an overview of the CCA philosophy in
  Singapore schools;
• broaden coaches’ understanding and inspire
  them towards student-centric and value driven coaching and
• introduce the National Standards for Youth
  Sports and to illustrate how the standards can help guide student-centric and
  value-driven coaching.

All taekwondo coaches who are teaching or plan to teach in schools are advised to attend the workshop by 2015.
