In order for the STF to release the results within two weeks of the grading for 4th dan and higher candidates, we have decided to adopt the following regulations.
4th dan
- Theory test will be conducted within one and a half weeks of the practical test.
- All candidates are required to take the theory test regardless of the outcome of their practical test.
- Retests – practical and theory – will be conducted during the quarterly grading.
5th dan & higher
- Candidates must submit their theses when they apply for the promotion test.
The above requirements will be implemented from the July 2006 grading.
