Based on the announcement on 15 June 2020, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce has assessed the situation and decided to start Phase Two after 18 June 2020, 2359 hours. Taekwondo classes can thus resume from 19 June onwards.
Please see STF’s guidelines for the resumption of Taekwondo Acitivites for Phase Two (“Safe Transition”). The advisory is based on the latest guidelines from SportSG and other relevant authorities. Please also review and take guidance from the guidelines and measures that are listed below and which may be updated from time to time. These and other advisories from relevant authorities should be considered when you come out with your safe management plan for your re-opening.
Affiliates who are conducting classes in community clubs or similar establishments/associations must also work with the relevant parties to ensure that the measures are in place. STF has engaged the People’s Association on the resumption of Taekwondo activities in community clubs and residents’ committees and any updates will be published when available.
SportSG has advised that affiliates can resume their activities as long as they adhere to the existing advisories. In addition, affiliates must submit the declaration form found in Annex A to STF within two weeks of the date of resumption of on-site operations.
