The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is planning to organize a five-day enrichment program for its members in early December 2010. The program will focus on taekwondo which the NCC is hoping to introduce to all cadets next year as part of their training program.
As the national sports association for the sport, the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) was asked to assist the NCC in getting the program off ground. STF and NCC representatives have met several times to discuss on a working relationship and other matters.
Recently the STF Management has appointed Mr Leon Koh as a co-ordinator for the running of the program.
The STF would like to invite all its coaches who wish to be involved in the program to attend a briefing.
The briefing will be held on Saturday 13 November 2010 at 2.30pm at the NTC (Geylang).
The briefing will entail the following:
- What the NCC program is about?
- What the STF plans to do?
- Who will be qualified to coach?
- What are the expectations of coaches?
- How the coaches will be rewarded?
At the end of the briefing, the floor will be open to coaches who wish to seek clarifications pertaining to the program.
