The 7th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championships will be held on 8 and 9 June 2013 at Toa Payoh Sports Hall.

All participating clubs are reminded that they must provide a referee for the event. ‘Borrowing’ of referees from other clubs will not be allowed.
The Unarmed Combat Course (Level 2) will be held on 18, 19, 25 & 26 May 2013 at the STF National Training Centre.

The Nestle Koko Krunch Junior Taekwondo Championships will be held on Sunday 28 April 2013 at Jurong East Sports & Cultural Centre.
The programme, fixtures and protector sizes for the tournament are attached.

The following participants were successful in the recently completed National Kyorugi Referee Course held on 6, 7 & 14 April 2013.

Majority of the participants were unsuccessful in the practical test. A handful failed either the theory test or both.
A retest will be held on Sunday 21 April 2013 at 2.30pm at the STF National Training Centre. Those who are interested to retake the test must register with the Secretariat at 6345 1491. The retest fee is $20.
A private instructor is wanted to teach two children – one, 3 years old and another, 8 years old – somewhere in Punggol.
If you are qualified and interested in taking up the position, please call the Secretariat at 63451491 or email the STF at stf@singapore.com.
Similarly, you may contact the STF if you wish to teach part-time on Thurday(3.00pm to 9.00pm), Friday (3.00pm to 8.00pm) and/or Sunday (9.00am to 6.00pm) at a club in Upper Bukit Timah.
The Asian Junior Taekwondo Poomsae & Kyorugi Championships will be held from 20 to 23 June 2013 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation will be conducting open selection trials for the tournament and invites all affiliates to participate in both Kyorugi and Poomsae events.

All participants must be SINGAPORE CITIZENS and are STF poom or black belt holders.
Please fill in the attached forms and submit them to the Secretariat by Thursday 2 May 2013. There is no limit to the number of players each affiliate can field. We reserve the right not to accept late submission, incomplete forms or registration without the necessary supporting documents.
Registered players for the trials are to report at the STF National Training Centre by 11.00am.
Kyorugi players shall be considered for the category based on their actual weight on the day of the weigh-in and not according to the weight submitted in the form as we do not want to disqualify any players. No weight allowance will be given.
Shorlisted players and performers will be required to fulfill the training requirements averaging 12 hours per week to qualify for the final trials which is tentatively scheduled to be held in May 2013.
The panel of selectors will comprise any 3 of the following senior technical members.

The player’s undertaking form is also attached. The form must be signed by parents for all players/performers. Players/performers will not be allowed to participate in the trials if they do not comply with the administrative requirements.
The trials would be open for observation by participants and the registered accompanying coaches only.
