Joint Statement

0

We, the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (“STF”) hereby inform our affiliates and their members that insofar as to the issues between STF and Daniel Tay Xiong Sheng, parties have reached a settlement after mediation at the Singapore Mediation Centre.

Under the terms of the Settlement, the parties have also agreed to now issue a joint statement as follows:

One of the key tenets of Taekwondo (as known to the affiliates and its members) is that of respect and humility.

As such, STF is of the view that going forward, should there be any issues between the affiliates (or its members) with the STF, the proper process would be for the affiliates (or its members) to approach STF formally to resolve any issues, and not to have these issues brought to fore of the public (either through traditional media or social media).
