IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Submission for the Grading can only be at the STF office during office hours.
- Please ensure that ALL grading cards are properly completed and duly endorsed. A recent photograph of the candidate must be attached.
- For ALL candidates who are going for Red 1 & above, please have the following documents during submission:
a) Candidate’s grading card
b) 1 photocopy of the candidate’s Identity Card (front & back) / Birth Certificate (for candidate below age of 12)
c) 2 recent IC / passport photographs of the candidate
d) Form B (duly completed)
Submission will not be accepted if any of the documents is not available or, for Form B, partially completed.
- Submission will not be accepted if candidate fails to produce any of the documents mentioned above.
- The last day of submission is on 18 SEPTEMBER 2017 (MONDAY). Any submission after this date will be considered as LATE SUBMISSION.
- Late submissions for candidates taking Red 1 & above are to be done within two (2) weeks from 19 September 2017 (Tuesday). Submission beyond the grace period of two (2) weeks WILL NOT be accepted. An administrative fee will be charged accordingly for late submission. The charges are as follows:

- An administrative fee of SGD 5.00 will be charged for late submission of candidates taking all other grades except Brown 1 & above.
- A roll call will be taken at 1.30pm for Red 1 (Senior) candidates going for 1st dan and 2.30pm for 1st dan and higher candidates. Those who miss the roll call will be considered as ABSENT or LATECOMERS. Latecomers will not be graded.
- Candidates are to turn up in proper dress code (as stipulated by the STF) for the grading. Candidates who fail to comply with the dress code will not be allowed to take the grading.
- Supplementary Grading can only be conducted two (2) weeks before or after the Centralised Grading and will be subjected to the approval of the Grading Department.
- Candidates will be taking the grading at their own risk and therefore will not hold the Federation, the Grading Department or anyone so concerned, responsible for any injuries, accidents or mishaps that may befall on them during the course of the grading.

Chelsea Leads the National Pledge
It was an honor for Chelsea Sim, 2015 Taekwondo SEA Games Gold Medallist, to be selected by the Organizing Committee to lead the National Pledge at the start of the NILA Walk/Run held on Sunday 30 July 2017 at the Padang.
STF President and Chef-de-Mission for the 2017 SEA Games, Mr Milan Kwee, was present to witness the pledge taking and congratulated Chelsea for a job well done.
The taekwondo community is proud of her achievement. Look out for Chelsea in action at the 2017 Malaysia SEA Games!
Sparring Course (Fundamental) Sunday 20 August 2017
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation will be organizing a Sparring Course (Fundamental) on Sunday 20 August 2017 from 2.30pm to 5.30pm. Candidates going for their 1st poom or dan will be exempted from sparring if they have the fundamental certification.

Unarmed Combat (Level 1 & 2) Courses Results
The results for the following Unarmed Combat Courses are attached.
– Unarmed Combat Course (Level 2) held at the STF National Training Centre
– Unarmed Combat Course (Level 1) held at Induk TKD
– Unarmed Combat Course (Level 1) held at SAFRA Punggol (St Teresa TKD)
– Unarmed Combat Course (Level 2) held at SAFRA Punggol (St Teresa TKD)
A retest will be conducted for those who received provisional passes or were unsuccessful on Sunday 13 August 2017 at 2.30pm at the STF National Training Centre. The retest fee is $21.40 (inclusive of GST).
Please call the Secretariat at 6345 1491 to register for the retest. Payment can be made at the venue.
Special Review for Unsuccessful Participants in Poomsae Coach Upgrading Course
After much considerations, the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) has decided to conduct a special review for participants who were unsuccessful in the Poomsae Coach Upgrading Course held on 1 April 2017.
The special review will be held on Saturday 12 August 2017 from 1.30pm at the STF National Training Centre.
Please call the Secretariat at 6345 1491 by Monday 7 August 2017 to register. The review fee is $21.40 (inclusive of GST). Late charges will be applicable for on the spot registration.
Overall Results for NCAP (Level 1) Conducted at J H Kim (Bukit Timah)
The overall results for the NCAP (Level 1) Technical Course after the retest held on 15 May 2017 at J H Kim Taekwondo (Bukit Timah) are attached.
Those participants who are successful are required to complete 3 months (twice a week) or 6 months (once a week) of practical coaching attachment. Trainee coaches can have their choice of schools or clubs approved by the STF for their attachment.
Form A must be returned to the STF at least two (2) weeks before they start their coaching attachment. Attachment without prior approval of STF will not be accepted.
Form B is for trainee coaches to record their attendance. It must be counter-signed by their respective club officials.
The two forms are available in the ‘Forms’ folder.
On receipt of the completed Form B, the STF will issue certificates to coaches only after having satisfied that the coaches have fulfilled their obligations. Practical attachment must be complete within 2 years of the announcement of the results. After that, the results will be considered null and void.

Overseas Competition Opportunity
Another opportunity is open for affiliates to participate in an international competition organized in Malaysia.
If your club is interested to field a team for the 15th International Clubs Open Taekwondo Championships which will be held from 7 to 11 September 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the full details are attached.
Participating clubs will be responsible for all matters and expenses pertaining to the competition. While club may liaise directly with the organizers, all correspondences must be copied to the Singapore Taekwondo Federation.

If you are, here’s an opportunity for you to do so.
We are inviting aspiring champions (all categories from 12 years and above) to join the National Training Squad.
The training schedule is as follows.
– Monday to Thursday (7.30pm to 9.30pm)
– Friday (7.30pm to 9.30pm) Kyorugi only
– Saturday (11.00am to 1.00pm) Poomsae only
– Sunday (12.00pm to 2.00pm)
For members of the squad who find difficulty in meeting the schedule, we also provide flexible training periods.
You may join the squad, subject to the approval of your respective clubs, at any time convenient to you by reporting for training at the STF National Training Centre, Block 80 Lorong Limau #04-191 Singapore 320080.
Members of the squads must continue to be members of their respective clubs to qualify to remain in the squads. Affiliates will have the rights to withdraw their players from the squads at their own discretion.
