2ND SINGAPORE OPEN VIRTUAL TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS
RESIGNATION OF BOARD MEMBER MR. STEVEN LAM
Mr. Steven Lam has resigned from the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) Board with effect from 10 November 2025.
STF would like to thank him for his dedicated service to the Federation and the Taekwondo community.
Mr. S. Sinnathurai will take over the role as the Treasurer and Mr. Koh Chin Beng will continue his role as the Assistant Treasurer.
Gaonhae Taekwondo looking for Taekwondo Instructor (Full-time/ Part-time)
Gaonhae Taekwondo is looking for a suitable individual for the role of Taekwondo Instructor to join the team.
Taekwondo Instructor (Full-time) – Minimum STF/Kukkiwon 2nd Dan – Coaching experience preferred – Candidates without coaching experience may be considered – 6 days retail/enrichment industry work week (Mondays off) – Remuneration will be commensurate with experience – Learn from our esteemed Korean Masters – Only Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residents may apply.
Taekwondo Instructor (Part-time) – Minimum STF/Kukkiwon 1st Dan – Coaching experience optional – On the job training will be provided – Flexible working – Remuneration will be commensurate with experience – From $80 per day (weekday) and $95 per day (weekend) – Multiple locations (Newton, Jurong West, Kembangan, Yishun, Bukit Merah) – Only Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Residents may apply.

THIRD WORLD TAEKWONDO (WT) VIRTUAL TAEKWONDO (TKD) MATCH OPERATOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMME
Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) will be the host organiser for the 3rd WT Virtual TKD Match Operator Certification Program, that will be held on 8 – 10 December 2025.
Good News, more slots have been allocated to STF and the minimum age to participate will be 18 years old (originally 21 years old). Interested Singapore applicants who have yet to apply may do so by submitting:
- the application form (https://www.stf.sg/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/Application-form_3rd-WT-VTKD-MO-Certification-Course-Singapore_250818-1_compressed.pdf) with ID photo to opsexec@stf.org.sg by 11 November 2025.
- Screenshot of passing the online course (free ad pass rate of 80%) which is a pre-requisite for participating in the on-site course.
- A write-up on how they have contributed to the promotion of Virtual Taekwondo in Singapore and how they will continue to do so upon completion of the WT VTKD Match Operator Course (if their application is successful).
Please note that you must have a valid WT Global License to be registered.
STF will inform applicants on their application outcome should the number of applicants exceed the allocated number of slots offered to STF and/or the course capacity.
Should WT accept your application, you will receive further instruction on registration via GMS and payment details.

Application for Global Management System (GMS) by Tuesday, 2 December 2025
The Global Management System (GMS) annual licence for the year 2026 is now open for registration as the current GMS licence will expire at the end of December 2025.
The Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) invites all affiliated members who wish to renew or apply for the GMS annual licence to submit your applications through your respective clubs. The cost of the GMS licence is S$76.30 (including 9% GST).
Please ensure that your applications and payment are submitted no later than Tuesday, 2 December 2025.
