On 28 October 2014, Tan Kok Seng was suspended for 3 years from participating in all activities organized or sanctioned by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) for breaching the coaches’ code of conduct.
He appealed to the Management Committee to consider lifting his suspension on grounds of good behavior and continued contribution to taekwondo.
The Management Committee, in its monthly meeting on 17 January 2017, accepted his appeal. The Committee also put on record that if he misconducted himself in future, in any way, it would not be so forgiving.
In response to the decision, Kok Seng expressed his appreciation and assured the Committee that he would abide by code of conduct and observe the rules and regulations of the STF without fail.
The President and Management Committee of the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF) cordially invite all members of the various departments – for example grading department, tournament department, etc, club leaders, instructors and volunteers for a Chinese New Year gathering which will be held on Saturday 4 February 2017 at 7.00pm at the National Training Centre.
It will be a simple gathering which provides participants the opportunity to let their hair down, network and have fun. Food and soft drinks will be served.
If you are attending the event, please inform any of the Secretariat staff – Jolene, Rosalind, or Audrey – by telephone (6345 1491) or email (stkdf@mail.com) by Friday 27 January 2017. Please do not just turn up. If you do, there will be insufficient food and drinks to go around. This would not be fair for those who have the courtesy to inform the organizer of their attendance.
The STF will only cater for those who inform the office that they will be attending so that there will be no wastage. Your co-operation is appreciated.
